Lymphedema Awareness Day

March the 6th is Lymphedema Awareness Day! Every year it is proclaimed in Saskatchewan and can be proclaimed in each city. Currently Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert are covered. There is a declaration form included that could be presented to City Hall in your area. Please inform us if your city or town is participating. You will also find a declaration form to be forwarded to your local media. This is a golden opportunity for lymphedema education.

A BIG THANK YOU to Ed Lloyd from Magnetsigns Prince Albert for donating and displaying a two sided sign for 2 weeks acknowledging Lymphedema Awareness Day and the website!!!

You can help bring lymphedema awareness and education in SK!

SK Residents, Please help LAS distribute lymphedema brochures and posters to your doctor's offices. Also please ask them if they would be willing to receive a mailed copy of the Pathways magazine for their office free of charge (four issues yearly). LAS must order a minimum of 150 Pathways issues and we would like to use the extra copies towards education.
